Anyway it has been up on our roof deck for 7 years and I just spent an afternoon refinishing it and it looks as good as new. We have enjoyed the set and have had a lot of complements on it from all our guest who have enjoyed drinks and meals on it while overlooking the Pacific.

This is truly one of the best purchases we have made and it looks as fantastic as the day it was delivered.

Two years ago, I was suffering over a purchase of patio furniture.  Everywhere I went, I got a story.  Buy this and get this, this wood is better than that wood, don't order over the internet you'll get taken advantage of and so on and so on.  I'd search for awhile and then quit and then start again.  One day I found your website and surfed around.  I called no less than five times and finally wound up ordering well over $1300 of furniture for my deck.  Talk about a great purchase!  I couldn't be happier with my purchase.  This furniture has already been through storms and South Florida heat and everything that mother nature can deal out to us down here. 

So after two years, it was time to seal the furniture.  I'd forgotten how, so I called you folks and got a 10 minute lesson on how to seal the furniture.  Everyone has been so nice and professional and its obvious, you folks love your furniture even after it leaves your warehouse!

For anyone who has a fear of ordering this type of furniture over the internet, relax.  It comes right to your door.  The set up was very simple and the support has been fantastic.  It's nice to applaud good business these days and customer service that's still as good as the day you bought the furniture.

I have a large collection (about $12,000 worth) of Avonlea Gardens patio furniture that we have for our condo development  in the Virgin Islands.  In preparation for the recent Hurricane Omar, we found ourselves running short on preparation time prior to the hurricane, which is pretty understandable.  I recall reading that the balau wood used by Avonlea Gardens has been used for centuries in shipbuilding, and being a boatbuilder myself I took our patio furniture and just threw it in the pool to weather the hurricane.  The furniture floated in the pool for 4 or 5 days and when I took it out and let it dry, it was perfect.  Thanks Avonlea for a great product!

Just a note to say that I really am happy with my recent purchases of furniture from you. I'm a marketing/pr consultant, and I recommend that you add a section to your website for "customer comments," so people like me can share their purchasing experiences. I have no problems ordering all kinds of things on the Internet, but some people would be a little uneasy ordering something as big as patio furniture over the web. Those skeptics might be more confident after reading some comments from customers online. Food for thought.

I went to several web sites looking for deck lounges - teak in particular, and the prices were over $1000 each. Next I looked for cedar and could not find anything I really liked. So, I took a chance on your steamer chairs - the photo on the web looked good and your description of the tropical hardwoods sounded "worth the try." When these chairs arrived, I was amazed. I cannot believe the weight, good looks, fine craftsmanship and overall quality - all for the price that you would pay for plastic or maybe pine. Great furniture. I wish I had ordered more now.

I would especially like to thank you for your responsive and professional customer service. When I received my order, one item was missing its assembly hardware. I sent an e-mail Friday evening to request that a hardware package be sent to me. Much to my surprise, I received a response to my e-mail early Saturday morning indicating that my hardware would be shipped first thing Monday. By Wednesday, the hardware was at my home.
