We are currently offering 1 style of Umbrella Base. Our
base is the
fill-able type. This means that you fill the base with sand or water before
use. Our experience is that a combination of both sand and water works
best. These fill-able bases offer two advantages. First, the shipping
cost is very attractive and secondly the empty base is very easy to move during
setup and off-season storage. Our bases are manufactured using a U.V.
Stabilized Polymer that resists cracking and fading. The UB-2 base is for
use under a table and weighs approximately 30-35 pounds when filled. The
UB-2 base is brown in color to blend well with the
furniture and will not rust, dent, or leak. Should you choose not to use
our base, please use the weight guidelines for your base considerations.
